I got a rock chip in my windshield yesterday, so I called Safelite first thing Saturday morning. Unfortunately, it was difficult to reach someone, and when I finally did, the representative didn’t seem very experienced. I was given an incorrect referral number, and although she said she had tried to contact several local locations, she wasn’t able to connect with the Apex or Raleigh stores. She suggested that, if I was comfortable, I stop by the Apex location. When I arrived, I learned that the referral number I had been given was incorrect and my claim wasn’t in the system. This is where my experience completely changed. The Apex Store Manager, Syvilla W., immediately stepped in and took ownership of the situation. She helped reconnect me with the Safelite representative, personally spoke with them to get everything straightened out, and then helped transfer me to my insurance company so the repair could move forward. Syvilla even spoke directly with my insurance company on my behalf to make sure everything was handled correctly. While all of this was happening, the service technician, Sawyer H., had already taken my truck into the shop and began repairing the rock chip and cr

This Safelite AutoGlass is in Apex, NC. It’s next to Roy Electric. Check-in was easy, and the overall process was much shorter than I expected. Before the work began, I asked whether I needed to remove my windshield sticker myself. I was told no because it would transfer to the new windshield. The sticker did transfer, but the ink was smudged, and the information on the sticker isn’t visible anymore. The waiting area could also use some attention. There was a blue bucket on the floor, and the chairs were dirty. Overall, the service was efficient, but there are definitely opportunities to improve the customer experience.

Absolute garbage. Parker said he had a light day and then half asses my car. What a joke. Never again will I or the shop use safelite again. Missing clips, hose not reattached, and only one squirter works now. Absolute BS!

First, getting a human is difficult when you call the local number; you’re forwarded to the generic phone tree. Second, I’ll be calling for a 3rd time after my initial repair. I heard a rattling while driving down the highway and see a part on the outside moving. Once I stop, I see a piece isn’t secured. It’s frustrating having to constantly go back and forth. If you can help it, don’t get your glass replaced unless it’s truly necessary. Now I have to drive back home on the highway and wonder if this piece is going to fly off and if the windshield is going to stay in place. After $500, these aren’t concerns I should have.
